Delete Your Account
Last updated: 2026-06-06
You can permanently delete your Fitrox account and the personal data tied to it at any time. This page explains how to start deletion, what is removed, what we may keep for legal reasons, and how long it takes. Questions can be sent to privacy@fitrox.co.
Delete In The App
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Fitrox app:
- Open the Fitrox app and sign in.
- Go to Profile (or Settings).
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account is then queued for permanent deletion.
You do not need to contact us first. The in-app option deletes the same account and data described below.
Delete By Email
If you cannot access the app, email privacy@fitrox.co from the address on your Fitrox account and ask us to delete your account. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before we proceed, to protect you from someone else requesting deletion on your behalf.
What Gets Deleted
When deletion completes, we permanently remove the personal data associated with your account, including:
- Account information: name, email, phone number, login provider, and password hash.
- Training profile: goals, experience level, schedule, equipment, body-focus areas, and injury or limitation flags.
- Workout data: generated sessions, completed sets, weight, reps, RPE, personal records, estimated 1RM, fatigue, and recovery scores.
- Biometrics you granted access to, such as sleep, heart rate, HRV, body weight, or readiness data.
- Coach-chat history and the training context tied to your account.
- Device data such as push notification tokens and app preferences.
What May Be Retained
A limited amount of data may be kept after deletion, only where we are required to or where it is not linked to your identity:
- Records we must keep to meet legal, tax, accounting, or financial obligations, such as subscription and payment records held by app stores or payment providers. We do not store full card details.
- Aggregated or anonymized analytics that can no longer be traced back to you and are not used to re-identify you.
- Backups that are encrypted and automatically expire on a rolling schedule.
Timeframe
Account deletion is processed promptly. Active data is typically removed within 30 days of your request, and any residual copies in encrypted backups are cleared within 90 days. Records we are legally required to keep are retained only for as long as the law requires and are then deleted.
